K-Lath Self-Piercing Framing Bullets® our wafer head Framing Bullet® has a head design called
a modified round washer head. This head style is similar to what is known as a K-lath screw and
is used for attaching wire lath to wood or metal studs. It has an extra sharp point for self-peircing
metal, and we have added a Type-17 cutter point to decrease driving torque and
enhance the drilling in tough wood and metal studs. Available in a clear zinc plating and a
Phillips drive, this is the fastener of choice for the metal fabricator.
